The Challenge
Bizleap's engineering team was capable and ambitious, but hadn't yet built or operated systems at real scale - the kind of architecture and security decisions whose cost usually only shows up later, once a system is already carrying real usage. Akshat Soni wanted his team to build the right instincts early, rather than learn them the expensive way after something broke in production.
The Approach
Rather than building the product for them, we worked directly with Bizleap's engineering team in an ongoing Virtual CTO and CISO advisory capacity - reviewing architecture decisions before they were locked in, walking through security considerations most teams only discover after an incident, and explaining the reasoning behind each recommendation so the team could apply the same judgment independently going forward.
The Result
The team came away with its own working knowledge of how to design for scale and think about security by default - not a one-time fix, but a way of making decisions that carries forward into every future piece of Bizleap's product.
